| Airport Directions |
Auckland Airport is not well served by public transport. The cheapest way to get to downtown Auckland is on the Airbus, which leaves every 20 minutes (every 30 minutes after 6pm), takes an hour and costs $15 one-way and $22 return. There are plenty of taxis, which will cost about $40 and shuttles (shared taxis). |

| Transport |
Auckland is a city of cars. While buses will serve you well within the inner city and for trips to and from the city, you might find a rental car a worthwhile investment, even for a few days. The Link bus is handy. It circles the city and the inner city suburbs for $1.20 a trip. |
